Located at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, the Ski Area of Le Tourmalet, the resort Barèges-La Mongie, offers winter sports lovers a technical and varied ski area: more than 100 km of marked trails with 69 slopes of all levels, 170 snow cannons, 43 lifts including 3 detachable 6-seater chairlifts ... and two separate entrances to satisfy all desires of vacation: an authentic Pyrenean village, Barèges and a village at the foot of the slopes, La Mongie.
The ski area of Le Tourmalet is known for its resort where you can practice all forms of snow sports: downhill skiing for all levels (22 green slopes, 20 blue slopes, 23 red slopes and 5 black slopes), special installations for freestyle skiers or snowboarders with a snowpark and many areas of freedom adapted to the expression of all snow enthusiasts.
