Chamrousse is located at 1600m on the Chaîne des Belledonnes and dominates the valley of Grenoble. From there, you will have a breathtaking view of the Vercors and Chartreuse mountains. Chamrousse benefits from an exceptional snow coverage for its altitude which culminates at 2250m with a unique and unforgettable 360° panorama.

What makes the resort special
As far as alpine skiing is concerned, the Chamrousse ski area will delight the most shy as well as the most daring! You will be able to experiment skiing in the forest on simple slopes adapted to beginners and young skiers. They will be able to enjoy skiing in complete freedom thanks to the 4 consecutive hours ski pass which allows you to start your half-day skiing whenever you want!
The most adventurous skiers will be delighted to discover or rediscover the Olympic slopes of the ski area as well as the fantastic couloir de Casserousse which allows you to descend more than 850m of vertical drop in an exceptional setting. If you come during the February vacations, don't miss to go down the illuminated slope of Les Gaboureaux and admire the superb sunset.
