For the comfort of its visitors, the resort is totally pedestrian: it guarantees safety and allows direct access to the slopes from each accommodation. Family resort, it ensures the best welcome for your children and accompanies them in their first slides! It has the P'tits Montagnards label. This search for maximum safety for children, pedestrians and skiers was at the heart of the Corbier's architectural project. It was designed on the model of the so-called "3rd generation" resorts, such as Les Arcs or Flaine.
Opened in 1967, the Corbier resort today offers more than 12,000 beds divided between hotels, rental agencies, tourist residences and private individuals. The imposing towers, covered with wood, are named Baïkonour, Cosmos or Soyouz-Vanguard. For those who don't ski, Le Corbier also offers many activities: relaxation area, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding...

A specific resort
The French Family Ski Championship is a unique competition organized for amateur families in Le Corbier. Open to all vacationers (team composed of dad, mom and a child between 7 and 17 years old) the Championship is a parallel slalom, but it is above all a friendly moment to share with the family and on skis! Registration is free. Information available at the Tourist Office.
You will also have at your disposal a network of underground galleries that link the commercial activities of the Corbier: easy, you can go shopping, buy a stamp, rent a pair of skis or go out to a restaurant without having to put your nose outside! Thanks to these advantages and the constant attention paid to children and families, Le Corbier was awarded the certification label Famille Plus Montagne in 2007.
