Located at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre, the Tourmalet ski area, Barèges-La Mongie, offers more than 100 km of marked slopes with 69 slopes for all levels, 170 snow cannons, 43 ski lifts including 3 detachable 6-seater chairlifts... and two separate entrances to satisfy every desire for a stay: an authentic Pyrenean village, Barèges and a village at the foot of the slope, La Mongie.
The ski area of Le Tourmalet is of course the resort for all types of snow sports: alpine skiing for all levels (23 green slopes, 19 blue slopes, 21 red slopes and 6 black slopes), special facilities for skiing or snowboarding freestylers with a snowpark and many areas of freedom adapted to the expression of all snowboard enthusiasts.

The particularities of the resort
The high point of the resort of La Mongie: 2 different entrances that complement each other perfectly.
First with the western slope, Barèges which combines sport and relaxation with its numerous thermal baths. The shepherd's huts made of stone and slate give it a very special cachet combining authenticity and charm. It is today a place of exceptional conviviality.
Then, the eastern slope, La Mongie where all types of snow sports are practiced, offering all the necessary comfort at the foot of the slopes. Not to mention a high mountain landscape that is really worth the detour.
All the stores are close to the slopes, especially the rental stores, very practical to allow you to wear shoes directly after renting!
