Orcières Merlette 1850 is a family resort, located in the Ecrins massif, in the heart of the Hautes Alpes.
The resort with the "Famille Plus" certification label offers many after-ski activities, including a leisure and relaxation complex which includes an ice rink, water games, a cinema, an 1870-metre zip line, the Winter Parc, a bowling alley...
For non-skiers, Orcières offers 15 km of groomed pedestrian trails, accessible free of charge, as well as many marked trails for your snowshoe outings. Cross-country skiers will also be delighted with more than 25 km of groomed and traced slopes for skating or alternative skiing along the banks of the Drac.

A specific resort
The ESF Orcières Merlette 1850 and its 132 instructors offer you ski, snowboard, cross-country skiing, Free-rando lessons, but also ski chair, baby-snow, snowshoe walks and the Piou-Piou club. Our Piou-Piou club, the 1st created in France, is a space dedicated to children from 3 to 5 years old.
To take advantage of slow periods, the resort of Orcières Merlette 1850 offers its "Cartable à la neige" package, which allows children to attend ski lessons in the morning and study in the afternoon, outside of school vacations.
