Created in 1961, Pra Loup is considered one of the best resorts in the Southern Alps. Enjoy the quality of its sunny slopes and the Grand Angle ski area! Pra Loup represents 180 km of skiing pleasure and 39 ski lifts between 1500 and 2600 meters of altitude.
Two kilometers before arriving at Pra Loup 1600, the Molanès (or Pra Loup 1500) in a quiet residential area that welcomes you under the charm of the chalets nestled in their green setting ... Here, it is the kingdom of small warm establishments; inns and country hotels that rub shoulders with rooms and tables d'hôtes installed in old stones. The more modern residences are no less discreet and do not alter the landscape in any way.
You will choose the Molanès for their tranquility and a relaxing living environment, where all the facilities are there to make your stay easier. A little further up, after a few turns and 1 km from Pra Loup 1500, Pra Loup 1600 can be discovered nestling in the middle of the larch trees.

The specificities of the resort
The resort is located at the gates of the Mercantour National Park, 5 minutes from the town of Barcelonnette. Offering cosy accommodations, stores, select restaurants, Pra Loup is also certified Famille Plus Montagne, with its services reserved for the reception of children.
You will also be able to taste the joys of the new installations such as the detachable 6-seater chairlift of the Bergeries, the snow carpet of the beginner's area of the Sorbiers and a return to the resort by the Chemin du Bull.
Comfort and a setting like no other: most of the shops are centralized in an open-air but sheltered shopping mall and the residences, partly covered with wood, rub shoulders with the chalets at the bottom of the resort. In short, Pra Loup is designed to make your stay in the mountains easier.
