Your ski lessons with the ESF Risoul 1850
At an altitude of 1850 m, the Risoul resort offers a ski area made up of 185 km of slopes connected with the Vars resort: La Forêt Blanche.
It is located in the Southern Alps (in the Hautes-Alpes department) in the heart of the Guillestrois region and at the gateway to the Ecrins National Park and the Queyras Regional Natural Park, near Gap, Briançon and Guillestre. The resort of Risoul 1850 overlooks the Guil valley and the Fort of Mont-Dauphin (classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
To reach it, pass the hamlets of L'Eglise, Gaudissard, La Rua, Chauvet, Languieu, Villaret, Fourniers, La Place, Barbeinc. It is located after the 13 km of winding ascent (which regularly see the Tour de France, Il Giro (Tour of Italy) and the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré passing by!)

The specificities of the resort
Mainly composed of buildings and cottages covered with wood shingles well match the surrounding larch forest.
All the seasonal activity is concentrated in the resort center and allows to spend a stay without using a car and almost without moving around (a free intra-resort shuttle service linking Guillestre to Risoul is offered). With the "Famille Plus" certification label, Risoul has developed all the services, activities and facilities adapted to children coming to enjoy the joys of snow.
Facing the Pic du Clocher (2473 m) and under the Pic de Chabrières (2750 m), the Plate de la None chairlift, which climbs to the top of the slopes on the Risoul side at 2571 m under the Pointe de Razis (2575 m), connects the resort of Vars, to form the ski area of La Forêt Blanche, with a total of 185 kilometers of slopes.
