Located a few kilometers away from the Vanoise National Park, and in the heart of the "Galibier-Thabor" ski area (150 km of slopes), the Valmeinier resort is the latest of the Maurienne resorts. It benefits from excellent snow cover and exceptional sunshine.
At an altitude of 1500m, with direct access to the slopes, Valmeinier is a village resort that has kept its authentic character with its narrow streets and stone houses with slate roofs. Valmeinier is also a high altitude resort, located at 1800m, also at the foot of the slopes. Valmeinier 1800 is designed to integrate into the landscape, conviviality and functionality. There are free shuttles linking Valmeinier 1500 and 1800.

The specificities of the resort
Valmeinier is made of two sectors: Valmeinier 1500, the village resort at the foot of the slopes which kept an authentic characteristic and Valmeinier 1800, the altitude resort that is perfectly integrated in a measured architecture.
